got the bike dynoed on saturday.made 57 bhp with the clutch slipping at 9K
so been to norbos for new clutch plates and TZ springs they are fitted
trying to adjust the clutch now
been a long day!!
ignitech rev limiter set at 10k
so hopefully low 60s bhp next time
photobucket wont allow me to upload vid of dyno run
will keep trying
Torque is the same like an original TZR 250 with 36nm at 9400 rev . You have build an screamer. Midrange power is to small.
My advice.....reduce the crankcase volume with JB Weld Auto Weld epoxi. The volume is to big. If you reduce the case volume the midrange power rises and the resonanz rev is coming down. This is what that engine needs to go powerfull. Try it and you will feel the increase power from bottom up to top.
Same like this on the pics. To adjust the crank case volume due the exhaust and engine timing is very important. http://forum.rd350lc.de/viewtopic.php?t ... ecc798b96d
This 392ccm barrels have to much volume. You have made the first step of tuning.....now musst come step 2
That's a very good result!
on a Dynojet (in Germany often use), it is more than 70bhp.
i estimate approximately 72 bhp
the torque curve is also very good.
i think on a Dyna Pro were many disappointed here ..
thank you for the comments guys
its pretty scary to ride on the road
i have a trackday at cadwell park 11.07.15
so should be fun
dynopro are low reading dynos
maybe on another it would be 70-75 bhp
the ignitech stator and ignition sort the curve out
had to advance 6 degrees above 8000 rpm
i have some triumph 4 pot calipers to slow me down
