If there is one it's at location 1)
Usually one of the former owners has already taken it out ...

that was quick :P

tnx martin.

will look for it tomorow, have a 31w, all jetting seems normal but it's deffenatly rich. (stops when choke is used so...?)

on the other hand, i presume the pistons in this puppy are lasting 55.000 km ! so compression is not that good (and gets worse when warm, what does that say?)and that could be the source of the behaviour as well?

anyway, first things first whitch is, taking a good look at the axhaust system.

well, just like you said, no restriction at all.

baffels looked like new.
found some probs in the carb and so, to be sure, put some decent ones on.

bike runs ok-ish now but i guess the wearing of the pistons is the only thing holding it back.

just 1 more question, what reason could there be for the "wet" exhaust end i'm seeing, could this be related to the weared pistons and if so, why?

tnx in advance...

If the end is wet it means you're either not giving full load or the engine runs rich.
If the combustion temperature is high enough the oil burns and doesn't produce the wet muffler.
