Yes, I agree.
It´s a great tour. :D
I made it 3 years ago with my CB.
I wish the guys good weather for the tour.
So that those who want to watch the scenery while driving, get to see something.

Heya Kenny
Just watched on g..maps where you are living. Its not to far from the german border. So it might be in idea to meet next year somewhere i.e. in Xanten at the ferry for a coffee.

So a question about what do the German police think of bikes like the Lc ?
Do they attract the wrong type of attention !
By the way I am from Scotland .
A long way from home but looking forward to some fun .

Depends on what you are doing :-)
Best way driving would be not to attract them ...
By the way I am from Scotland
I assumed that already - the Mc's usually come from the north.

The German police is generally receptive the classic bikes opposite.
Assuming of course, all is registered and the bike is not too loud.
From which region of Scotland are you from?
In Scotland I liked it better than in the Netherlands.
And the Scottish Football can play even better. 8)

I am from S/W Scotland Dumfries and Galloway .
The roads are awesome :)
But life is going no where !

Tough choice but my wife is Dutch and she was home sick .
Had to sell lots to move and that was hard .
But time will tell if its the right move ?

Managed to keep the TL and the RD but lost much in the move !

You can say never.
In Germany there is a saying: "No matter how big the damage is also a small advantage is always there".

Search the advantage and stick to it!

Hey, Grave is very close to the A73 in the netherlands, i am riding that route about every two weeks because my girlfriend is from Amersfoort.

The netherlands are not so famous for nice twisting roads, but the eifel is not sooo far away.

Kilroy hat geschrieben:Hello Kenny
Best tire for the RD's is the Bridgestone BT45.
You might check a local dealer or an internet dealer. I always get mine directly at my Yamaha garage for a resonable price including assembly and disposal of the old tire.
Regards Uwe
Hi Uwe
I will look for those tyres :D
I change my own tyres and balance my wheels .
Disposal is fine a local tyre centre takes them

Regards Kenny .
