Main bearings
Does anyone know of a good supplier for
a set of outside main bearings for a 4l1,
in either Germany or Switz?
I can get them from England but the postage
is a bit high.
Thanks, Nick.
And the same message in German, may be all
wrong though!!!
Danke

Outer left and middle bearings:
50078 Lager KW 2009 Pin RD 350 Pro X 24,75 Eur.
Outer right bearing:
50079 Lager KW 2010 Nut RD 350 Pro X 24,75 Eur.

That's cheap! The right one with groove is a standard size but quite expensive if you order it from your normal bearing supplier (40 euro's)
The other ones van be had cheaper (without the pin) but still a good price!

Yes, these bearing numbers are the same with every brand i have seen. Sure between FAG and SKF.
Maybe a good idea to use a brand proven to last. More exact, there are bearings with different load and rev capabilities, also the make of the "cage" is sometimes different.....
However the most important thing is getting ones with the correct tolerance(-C3).
