Hi everyone,
Just joined this site as I'm a 350LC nutter, I'm origionally
from the UK but now I live in Switzerland, and at 40 years
old have decided to embark on my first re-build for 20 years.
I've just bought two very rough 4L1's and intend to make one
blinder!!!
Looking forward to a bit of banter/experience/parts selling/buying
and general RD related chat and bull with you all!!

ATB, Nick.

Welcome Nick! There's not as much banter on here as there is on the UK forums (must have something to do with Germans being serious and all  ) but still plenty!
..und wahrscheinlich ist ihnen das nicht mal peinlich, es fehlt ihnen jede Einsicht
Und wieder mal zeigt sich: Sie sind kleinlich, unvermeidlich fremdenfeindlich

Hello Nick,

German´s are not serious than other people in the world  . But even show us the English humor.

Be welcome here in this forum.

Hi NickIrons.

Why don`t you use an impact wrench to loose the main screw of the clutch? That makes life easier (and less expensive).

I've got another clutch basket and primary
drive gear that are matched so I can continue
with the re-build, but I ended up locking the
the clutch with rags, and using an impact driver
on the nut and done the job like that....
